Cork in 2007 and is a growing design focused practice with a comprehensive range of architectural services with experience ranging from planning, project management and coordination.  We have the resources necessary to carry out projects of any size, yet retain the close continuity and personal attention from us during the complete process in all aspects of works. We provide an innovative and practical approach to our clients needs and are dedicated to creative problem solving from the initial concept planning and development, through to project completion. In addition to standard architectural services, we can also provide consultancy services in project management, architectural programming, development planning, coordinate structural services, inspection and certification of work on site, landscape planning, urban design, interior design, health and safety planning for the workplace, and environmentally interactive sustainable buildings. Architect, Helmut Stutterich.
Helmut Stutterich, the practice principal, qualified from the Technical University of Architecture in Karlsruhe, Germany and holds membership of the Institute of German Architects, B.D.A. and the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland (M.R.I.A.I).   He also holds degrees both in Business and Economic Management and Facility/Environmental Management.  Helmut has worked with reputable architectural practices in Heidelberg and Darmstadt in Germany before relocating to Cork in 2000.  Helmut held the position of Senior Architect in Wilson Architecture for seven years, before setting up his own practice in 2007.  He has over 17 years  experience in mixed-use developments, town centre developments and residential projects in Ireland, Venezuela and Germany.  Helmut's approach to designs have been well recognised throughout his career having received numerous awards for competitions along with his contemporary designs being featured in interior design magazines in Ireland.
 
blue house architects have dedicated a lot of their time fundraising for worthy charities in the Cork area.   Simon Community, is one of our charities we support with the R.I.A.I .on an annual basis.  The company have also raised monies to help with the fundraising of the restoration of Fort Camden in Crosshaven.  We have also highlighted the plight and beautiful architecture of this Fort along with promoting upcoming and local artists in our local community at a recent international public event.
